State of the game

The game is still in active development and is my biggest project I'm making so far. 

I don't know yet when Chapter 1 will be ready for release. In the meantime, I'll be posting devlogs here and might even organize some playtests, so stay tuned!

Presentation

Primordial Soup is a surreal first-person dungeon crawler RPG set in the Soup, a mysterious place that only a few people can access through their dreams.

"I'll be your sword— your... Swordy sister"

You play as Cali and her sword A, two sisters searching for the Rosebud, a unique relic said to be capable of granting any wish So that A can regain her human form.

Fight Quantum Beings (QBs) and other dreamers seeking the relic in classic turn-based RPG battles, with a wide variety of builds and ways to approach each fight.

Make new (or old) strange friends, uncover the mysteries of your past, the Rosebud, and perhaps even the Soup itself.

For those who enjoy more strategic battles, Challenge Mode adds level caps between major fights for an extra twist.

• A classic turn-based dungeon crawler presented in a tiled first-person view.
• Multiple chapters with very different atmospheres and gameplay styles (Classic Dungeon Crawler, Roguelite, Mystery Game, Puzzle, Metroidvania, Side-Scroller, Visual Novel, Idle Game).
• Strategic battles with tons of builds to experiment with. Equip and swap skills at will.
• A Challenge Mode with a level cap between each boss, creating exciting puzzle fights.
• Unique and complex characters. Some will join you as guest party members, while others will be fierce bosses you'll have to defeat.
• 100% made without AI-generated assets.
